The softness of this pink silk fabric places this versatile piece in the luxurious and light-hearted style of Marie Antoinette and the Late Baroque era.
Silk dupioni is woven using the threads from two or more silk worm cocoons, which creates a rich and slubby surface texture. These naturally occurring "slubs" are in no way a defect of the fabric, but a reminder of the natural origins of the fiber.

Really great, love the elastic in the wrists, and the fastens at the v neck. Only thing is it’s insanely see through compared to what I expected in the ivory, still a really great shirt but something to keep in mind!

The fabric is much more flowy than I expected, but is still really substantial. It's not at all see-through when worn alone.
Beautiful craftsmanship and absolutely worthy of the price. I could have sized down based on the corset measurement advice; model with the short hair is pretty evidently wearing XS, as I still have a lot of room when I fully close the front and back lacing.

Fabric is so soft and sumptuous. However, the sleeves are extremely short and one of the neck ties pulled off on second wearing.
Fabric feels heavy and high-quality, it falls beatifully and fits comfortably! It will work perfectly for the ren faire and also just when I want to wear a pretty golden skirt.
