These ballerina stays have just the right amount of elegance and intrigue. Featuring front and back lacing for easy adjustability, a low scooping neckline to accentuate and support the bust, and a ruffle waistline for accentuating the waist. This bodice shape is based on a historical 18th century silhouette.
We love this corset for vampire and witch costumes, or for adding a touch of the macabre to a casual look. Perfect for layering over chemises or tops with a bit of lace poking out. Made in a dramatic black satin fabric with a subtle sheen and matching black satin ribbon.

The shirt is more than just oversized.. as a seamstress the cut on the shirt is all wrong.. on me in my size the cut is wide, but they took corners by not adjusting the armhole and drop shoulder… so the drop on the shoulder reaches my elbows and the armhole drops down to my waist.. what the issue becomes is any vest I wear bunches the armpit and no matter how I tried to adjust the sleeve, it took away from the attraction that the sleeve is all about.. Let’s face it.. the sleeves are the main attraction.. I’m going to alter the shirt.. That means sewing up the sides higher to a respectable arm hole size, create a new shoulder , and sew the sleeve back into the shirt..

This dress and sleeves are beautiful! PSA the navy chemise dress underneath does NOT come with this overdress!! If I had not been looking at the green option as well I wouldn't have realized this, so just know that you are getting the top dress with the gorgeous fabric and corset lacing and the tie on sleeves! Pretty comfy, I wore it for like 6 hours for a murder mystery part and was great! also the sleeves weren't a bother like I thought they'd be- though I did have them tied to the straps of the dress to not slide down too much.

These are beautiful! I was a little concerned they’d be slightly short, but they fit perfectly and are just the right length. They’ve got beautiful details and are well constructed.
If you’re between sizes, choose the larger one (you can adjust it to be even smaller from the back ties). Detachable sleeves mean that you can wear it for renfaire AND as just a normal, formal dress. Would recommend for normal special occasions too. Beautiful brocade material - bright gold, and not too shiny. Just right! Delivered very fast - arrived earlier than expected. Seller very responsive. Would appreciate this dress in dark red and gold too!
This will work perfect at the renaissance faire. Always need something for my money, lip gloss, etc. Perfect size. Also, it's cute enough to use when you go places where a purse is too much. Glad I bought it.
Very easy to follow, i decided not to do elastic channel and just added the elastic at the cuff as requested by my husband - turned out just as cute !!!

This is such a lovely skirt, with an option to tie it up on the sides. I have purchased from French Meadows before, and love every piece from them!
This came together fairly quickly and easily for a last-minute costume. The binding took some trial and error, especially on the tight curves at the waistline, but I'm happy with the results, given the limited time I had. I will definitely use this pattern again! My measurements fell into size M, but next time I'll size down to S as I needed it laced as small as it could go front and back to fit. I'll consider adding more boning channels to hopefully eliminate the slight wrinkling at the sides (although maybe the waistline was a little too low for me there)
