This leather underbust corset is unique among underbust corsets, featuring a fitted waist and exaggerated waist tabs for a historically inspired hourglass fit. This thick leather replicates armor and is complete with a hand stamped medieval pattern, adding texture and authenticity to this unique piece.

This corset belt is made from 100% American cow leather and tanned using natural vegetable tanning processes. Reinforced topstitching, hand-set metal grommets and tipped lacing ties make this belt as durable as it is versatile. Four adjustment points at the front, back, and sides allow you to get the perfect flattering fit on this corset.

Sizing

This corset is very adjustable! Please choose your size according to your natural waist measurement. If your waist measurement falls within two size categories, we recommend selecting your size based on how tight you want the corset to be:
If you want the corset to be on the tighter side, choose the smaller of the two recommend sizes.
If you want the corset to close all the way (no lacing gap), choose the larger of the two sizes. (Please note we can't guarantee there will be no lacing gap, but the larger size will be the closest to it)

Medium:
Waist 26-29in
Large:
Waist 29-33in
X-Large:
Waist 33-37in
2X:
Waist 37-42in
3X:
Waist 42-46in

For additional help with sizing, please refer to the actual garment measurements to compare your waist size and get the best fit. For example, if you have a 34in waist, a size XL corset will be 2 inches smaller than your natural waist. It will likely close all the way with no lacing gap and a small amount of tightening. If you choose the size L, the corset will be 6 inches smaller than your natural waist -- you may be able to tighten it all the way (if you have a very squishy waist and want a curvy fit), or you can tighten it some, and redistribute the lacing gap between the 4 adjustment points.

Flaps flip up like the flying nun's habit

The construction and quality are excellent, but I had to only give it 3 start because while it is gorgeous on a waiflike figure, if you have hips (and I don't mean full figure, we're talking hourglass) and wear skirts on top of that...the flaps don't lay down. I'm also short waisted so it rides too high. I will most likely return it. The only reason I haven't done so yet is because it's so beautiful and I love looking at it. It just doesn't work for my figure.
