The Brown Tabbed Tudor Stays combine historical style with a bold, armored look. This unique textured fabric gives the illusion of leather with the softness of flannel. With adjustable side and back lacing, these stays offer a completely customizable fit and are perfect for recreating the look of leather armor for a lady knight aesthetic or a masculine silhouette.
These stays are our most heavily boned style, perfect for providing the ample bust support. The heavily boned front is also useful for those who are interested in chest binding. The square waist tabs are purely and perfectly ornamental, for adding a little bit more whimsy to this elegant style. Whether you’re channeling strength or elegance, these stays offer both functionality and fierce style.

Details
This corset was lovingly designed in our studio in Sebastopol, California and handmade in China using sustainable small batch production methods. This corset boasts a number of notable features, including:
-Cotton canvas lining which makes this corset breathable and comfortable to wear
-Hand-set bronze grommets
-Synthetic whalebone plastic boning. This type of boning is specially selected for its flexibility and strength, allowing it to gradually confirm to your body shape as your body heat softens the plastic.
-Extra-strong double sided satin lacing ribbon, suitable to withstand many lacings
-Front and back corset lacing, which allows for greater adjustability as your body changes and fluctuates
- Adjustable straps to get the perfect fit

Care Instructions
To keep your corset in its best condition, we recommend always wearing a garment like one of our chemises between the corset and your skin. This, combined with leaving your corset to air out after each wear should be all the are you need to keep your corset clean.
In the event that you must do a deeper cleaning, we recommend dry cleaning only.

Good quality. I ordered a black and a brown one for two people. They were slightly different sizes, but it's no issue. Holds up to my spinning around with a mug on it pretty vigorously, too (I was drinking)

This item was even more beautiful in person. It fit really well. I’m 5 ft 170lbs and 36D. So I chose the Large. It was enough to cover me well while also being able to tighten both sides and back nicely. Could have maybe gotten a Medium to do an even tighter fit. But I liked the surface area the Large covered. Still tight enough to snatch and feel secure. Highly recommend! <3
